More income going to taxes

February 12, 2008 By WRN Contributor

State residents paid more in federal, state, and local taxes last year, for the fourth year in a row. That's the finding of a study by the Wisconsin Taxpayers Alliance.

Berry says total taxes claimed about 35-percent of our income, up one-percent from the year before.
