Badgers to face Michigan State in Big Ten Semi's

March 14, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The 6th ranked and regular season champion Wisconsin Badgers will face 19th ranked Michigan State in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis on Saturday.

Wisconsin advanced with a 51-34 quarterfinal victory over Michigan today, while Michigan State knocked off Ohio State 67-60.  The Spartan win may have bursted the NCAA Tournament bubble for the Buckeyes, who finished the season 19-13.

Drew Neitzel had one of his biggest games of the season, scoring 28 points on 9 of 17 from the field and 6 of 12 from three-point range.

Michigan State improved to 25-7 on the season.
