Brewers beat Arizona in Cactus League play

March 14, 2008 By WRN Contributor

A tough day for Brewers starting pitcher Jeff Suppan.  He left yesterday's game in the 4th inning after being hit by a line drive.  But Suppan said the injury isn't believed to be serious.

Suppan was touched up for 6 runs and 7 hits, including a home run as his ERA grew to 11.25 in three spring starts.

Alcides Escobar went 3 for 5 with a double for the Brewers.  Vinny Rottino went 2 for 4 with a triple and two runs scored and Joe Dillon clubbed a 2-run homer.

The Brewers face the Padres tonight.
