Brewers Wind Down Spring Training

March 27, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers will wrap up their stay in Arizona today when they play the Cubs.  On Wednesday, Milwaukee outslugged the White Sox 12-10.  Starter Ben Sheets struggled in his final exhibition start.  He gave up 9 runs on 8 hits in six innings of work.  All 9 of those runs came on 4 White Sox homers.  Ryan Braun and Corey Hart went deep for the Crew.

After today's game with the White Sox, Milwaukee will have a pair of games with the Kansas City Royals at Miller Park on Friday and Saturday.  The open the regular season at Wrigley Field on Monday afternoon against the Cubs.  The home opener is a week from Friday against the Giants at Miller Park.

The Brewers finalized their 25 man roster on Wednesday by sending catcher Eric Munson to Triple-A Nashville.  That means Mike Rivera will backup Jason Kendall behind the plate.
