Packers' Walker signs with Baltimore

March 14, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers defensive back Frank Walker, who was the Packers lone free agent signee a year ago, is leaving Green Bay, agreeing to a two-year deal with the Baltimore Ravens.

Walker gets $3.5-million with a $1.9-million signing bonus from the Ravens, considerably more than what the Packers were offering to keep him in Green Bay.

Walker played in 12 games last season as a backup with the Packers.  He was left inactive for the NFC Championship game against the New York Giants.
