Atlanta deals back in the first round

April 26, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Atlanta, already having selected QB Matt Ryan from Boston College with the 3rd overall pick, moved up again, trading with Washington for the 21st overall pick.

The Falcons used that 21st pick to USC tackle Sam Baker, providing some protection for Ryan.

There's been a run on offensive lineman.  Baker became the 6th tackle taken in the last 9 picks.

The deal between Atlanta and Washington is the 6th trade so far in the first round.

Dallas, with the 22nd pick, is on the clock.
