Brewers drop 3rd straight, start road trip with a loss

April 11, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers losing streak has reached three straight games, falling to the New York Mets 4-2 in New York.

Nelson Figeroa earned his first Major League win in five years, holding the Brewes to 2-runs on 2-hits in 6-innings of work.  He walked 2 and struck out 6.  Figeroa started the game by retiring the first 14 Brewers he faced.

Prince Fielder and J.J. Hardy drove in the only two Brewers runs with RBI doubles.

Ben Sheets pitches game two of the series on Saturday afternoon against Mets lefty Johan Santana.
