April 3, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Rickie Weeks ripped the first pitch of the game for a home run and the Milwaukee Brewers went on to a 8-2 win over the Chicago Cubs, grabbing the first two games of the 3-game series.

Jeff Suppan gave up solo homers to Derrek Lee and Geovany Soto in his 6 2/3 innings of work.  He picked up the win.

Jason Kendall and Ryan Braun each had 3 hits for the Brewers.  Kendall reached base five times.
