Brewers open series against Cardinals tonight

April 15, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers open a big early season series in St. Louis against the Cardinals tonight.

It's a big game for Brewers pitcher Dave Bush, who is off to a 0-2 start with an ERA over eight.  With Yovanni Gallardo returning to the Brewers rotation next week, Bush likely needs a solid outing tonight to have any chance to stay in the rotation.

Braden Looper pitches for the Cardinals, he's also 0-2.

The Cardinals at 9-4, have a half game lead on the 8-4 Brewers atop the NL Central Division.
