Brewers put Gwynn on Disabled List

The Milwaukee Brewers placed outfielder Tony Gwynn Jr. on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 4, with a strained left hamstring.

Infielder Hernan Iribarren was recalled from Triple-A Nashville to take Gwynn's spot on the 25-man roster.
