Culpepper visits with Packers

April 24, 2008 By WRN Contributor

For years, Daunte Culpepper was considered the enemy, playing quarterback for the rival Minnesota Vikings.

The 31 year old Culpepper visited the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, and there's a chance the two sides could come up with a deal before this weekend's draft.  Culpepper spent most of Wednesday at Packers headquarters after arriving in Green Bay on Tuesday.

Culpepper is an unrestricted free agent after playing one season with the Oakland Raiders last year.  He played in seven games before suffering a hamstring injury that ended his season.
