Driver to succeed Favre with annual softball game

April 22, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Donald Driver The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers and the Donald Driver Foundation say the Packers wide receiver will succeed Brett Favre in hosting the annual Packers softball game between the football team's offense and defense.

Favre hosted the game for the last seven years, but retired in March.

The game will be held June 15th at Fox Cities Stadium, home of the  Wisconsin Timber Rattlers  baseball team.

The motto of the foundation is "Strong Hands, Strong Minds, Loving Hearts".  Through donations, various service projects and social activities, the Donald Driver Foundation has helped families in need in Green Bay, Appleton and throughout Wisconsin and in Donald's hometown of Houston.

Individual tickets for the event go on sale Thursday, May 1 at 10:00 am.
