Famous Footwear leaving WI

Famous Footwear makes it official: it's moving corporate headquarters from Madison to St. Louis. Company President Joe Wood says the 270 Madison employees have been offered the chance to move Missouri. Wood says the move does not effect 130 employees at a distribution center in Sun Prairie. Wood says the Famous parent company, Brown Shoe , intends to grow the brand, but it became difficult to do that with part of its workforce in another city.
