Penney was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten honoree as he led the Badgers to Big Ten titles in 2002 and 2003.  He has played basketball professionally both in the United States and overseas since leavung Wisconsin.  This year, he returned to his native New Zealand to play for the New Zealand Breakers on the NBL.
