Gallardo could join Brewers in New York

April 10, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Brewers pitcher Yovani Gallardo made his second rehab start on Wednesday at Triple A Nashville.

Gallardo is coming off arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and worked 5 1/3 innings, striking out six.

It appeared the Brewers were prepared to let Gallardo make one more start in the minors, but the expected poor weather in New York may force the Brewers to get another starter on the roster to give them some flexibility.
