Gas pains

April 21, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Up and up it goes, and where it stops, nobody knows. AAA Wisconsin reports that Monday's statewide average is $3.55 for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline. That's seven-tenths of a cent more than Sunday – 27-cents more than a month ago – and 68-cents higher than a year ago. The La Crosse and Green Bay areas had the lowest prices in the AAA survey, at just over $3.49 per galllon. Milwaukee had the highest at $3.65, and MilwaukeeGasPrices.com said some stations were charging $3.79 Monday morning.
