Packers pick Auburn CB with final 2nd round pick

April 26, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Packers wrapped up the 2nd round of the draft by taking Auburn CB Patrick Lee.

Lee picked off four passes in his senior season with the Tigers and handled kickoff return duties as well.

Just prior to the Lee selection, the Packers took Louisville QB Brian Brohm.  Brohm started 33 games at Louisville and closed out his career as the Big East Conference's all-time record holder in passing yardage, becoming the first player in league history to threw for over 10,000 yards (10,775).  He finished second on the school's career-record list with 780 pass completions and 1,185 pass attempts, as his completion percentage (.658) is the fifth-best mark among active NCAA Quarterbacks.

Brohm finished 24-9 at Louisville as a starter.
