Packers select second straight offensive lineman

April 27, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers went with an offensive lineman for the 2nd straight selection.  They picked Louisville's Breno Giacomini who played tackle and tightend in college but projects as a tackle and guard in the NFL.

Giacomini spent some time at left tackle at Louisville, starting two games there before having to move back to tightend because the Cardinals starting tight end broke his hand.

Giacomini played right tackle in 2007.

The Packers have three picks left in the 2008 draft, all three in the 7th round.
