Sheets to skip a turn

April 22, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Dave Bush Milwaukee Brewers ace Ben Sheets will skip his start on Wednesday because of soreness in his right triceps that caused him to leave his last start.

Dave Bush (pictured) will take Sheets spot in the rotation.  Bush was recently passed over when Yovani Gallardo returned from the 15-day disabled list.

Sheets left his start against the Reds last Friday night after five scoreless innings

Sheets is off to a great start.  He's 3-0 and has allowed just three earned runs in four starts.

By missing a start, Sheets won't pitch again until April 29th in Chicago against the Cubs.
