Wagner wins first, Stricker settles for 11th

April 7, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Johnson Wagner shot a 1-under-par 71 during yesterday's final round and won the PGA Tour's Houston Open.  It's the first win on tour for Wagner, which earns him a trip to this week's Masters.

Wagner finished two strokes better than Geoff Ogilvy and Chad Campbell.

Madison's Steve Stricker also shot a 1-under 71 on the final day to finish 9-under par, 7-shots behind Wagner.
