5 Losses In A Row

May 8, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Brewer bats continue to slump as Florida grabs a 6-2 win on Wednesday night.  Milwaukee could muster only five hits last night as Burke Badenhop picked up his first Big League win for Florida.  Dave Bush drops to 0-4 with the loss.

The only highlight of the game for Milwaukee was a 442 foot two-run homer by Rickie Weeks in the 6th inning.  That snapped a 22 inning scoreless streak for the Crew.

Jorge Cantu and Dan Uggla hit back-to-back homers in the 6th for the Marlins.

The Brewers try to avoid the sweep tonight as they send Carlos Villanueva to the hill against Florida's Mark Hendrickson.
