Anderson Commits to UW

May 5, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Bo Ryan got a big verbal commitment for the 2010 season over the weekend.  6'11 center Evan Anderson out of Eau Claire North High School called the coach and told him he would accept a scholarship to the University of Wisocnsin.  Anderson is ranked as the 5th best player nationally in the class of 2010.  He is from Stanley-Boyd but transfered to Eau Claire North to increase his exposure and face better high school competition.  Reports say that Andreson made the call to Bo Ryan after he talked with Brian Butch on the telephone.  Many of the top schools in the country were recruiting Anderson.
