Brewers Give One Away

May 26, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Brewers were stuck with a hard-luck 7-6 loss to the Washington Nationals on Sunday.

After falling behind 6-0, Milwaukee rallied with a 6-run sixth inning to tie the game at 6.  Corey Hart's two-run homer was the big blow in the inning.  That big inning bailed out starter Manny Parra who gave up 6 runs on 7 hits in 4 and a third innings of work.

Milwaukee stayed even until the bottom of the 9th when Guillermo Mota's wild pitch scored Elijah Dukes with the winning run.

The Brewers will try and earn the series split this afternoon as Ben Sheets takes on Jason Bergmann.  That came will start at 12:30pm central time.
