Brewers Win 1-0

May 29, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers have won 3 straight after last night's 1-0 win over the Atlanta Braves at Miller Park.

Rickie Weeks' two out triple off of reliever Blaine Boyer in the bottom of the 8th plated JJ Hardy and made a winner out of Jeff Suppan.

The Brewers starter went 8 innings, giving up just four hits and striking out 7.  He was in danger of getting a no decision after being pulled for a pinch hitter in the bottom of the 8th.  Suppan gets his 3rd win of the year, and Salomon Torres pitched a perfect 9th inning for his 4th save of the year.

Atlanta's Jo Joe Reyes was the hard luck loser.  He was charged with the games only run and gave up just two hits and striking out 9.  Rickie Weeks had two of teams three total hits on the night.  Bill Hall had the other.

The Brewers look for the sweep this afternoon as Seth McClung takes the hill at Miller Park.
