Funk In U.S. Bank Championship

May 28, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee received a high profile player to committ to the event.

8 time PGA Tour winner, and 3 time Champions Tour winner Fred Funk informed officials that he'd be playing in the July tour stop.  The 50-year-old captured both a PGA Tour and Champions Tour win in the 2007 golf season.  Funk has made 6 of 10 cuts at Brown Deer Park during his PGA Tour career.

Funk won the 2005 Players Championship which is considered the "5th Major" by the golfers.

The U.S. Bank Championship is July 17th to 20th at Brown Deer Park.
