KKK graffiti at Janesville school

May 19, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Janesville police are investigating graffiti written on three doors at Kennedy Elementary school. Sgt. Brian Donohoue says a janitor found the markings early this morning, scrawled in yellow crayon or marker. Police, who think the graffiti was placed on the building between eight o'clock last night and five o'clock this morning, did a sweep of the school and found nothing. Donohoue says there was reference to a "bomb in a toilet," and the word "Jews" and the letters "KKK" were also present. He said many of the words were misspelled Donohoue says letters will go home with students to alert parents of the incident.
