McNeal staying at Marquette for senior year

May 23, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Marquette guard Jerel McNeal is withdrawing his name from the upcoming NBA Draft to return for his senior season.

McNeal entered his name for draft consideration in late April, but did not hire an agent.

McNeal, who averaged 14.9 points a game as a junior last season, says he made his decision Wednesday after weighing all his options.  McNeal says he has personal goals he hasn't reached yet in his collegiate career.
