Packers Wrap Up Rookie Camp

May 5, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers wrapped up their rookie minicamp on Sunday. Head Coach Mike McCarthy said that the camp went well and he likes having the rookies in alone before the veterans come in later this month for Organized Team Activies.  He says it gives the rookies a chance to get their NFL feet went before dealing with the vets.  The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that the team will sign Arksansas Defensive Tackle Fred Bledsoe after this weekends tryout with the team.  McCarthy said that he thinks a total of four players will be signed after tryouts during the camp.  The full squad OTA's begin on May 19th.
