Brewers salvage final game against Twins

June 16, 2008 By WRN Contributor

After dropping the first two games of their interleague series with the Minnesota Twins, the Milwaukee Brewers salvaged the final game of the series 4-2 at Miller Park on Sunday.

Seth McClung continued his strong effort on the mound, working six innings for his 4th (4-3) win of the season, and Salomon Torres picked up his 8th save, working the 9th inning.

Centerfielder Mike Cameron clubbed a two run homer to help the Brewers end a six-game losing streak in interleague play.  The Brewers are just 1-5 in interleague play this season.

Jason Kendall also chipped in with three hits for the Brewers, who get the day off today.  They'll open a series with the Toronto Blue Jays at Miller Park tomorrow night.
