Grant likely to watch Packers mandatory minicamp

June 16, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers will open their 3-day mandatory minicamp in Green Bay on Tuesday and they'll likely workout without starting running back Ryan Grant.

Grant has refused to sign his one-year tender from the Packers and is looking for a long term deal from the Packers.

Grant has been in Green Bay, working out with the Packers.  But he hasn't taken part in any OTA practices and will likely be a spectator again this week.

Following the Packers three days of workouts, the players are off until the start of Training Camp in late July.
