Hamms On Olympic Team

June 23, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Both Paul and Morgan Hamm were selected to the U.S. men's gymnastics team over the weekend.  Paul Hamm, the defending Olympic champion was chosen right after the Olympic Trials concluded.  Morgan was added to the squad on Sunday night.

Both Hamms have been battling injuries.  Paul was a shoe in to be added to the team, while Morgan had to sweat it out after struggling at the trials on bad ankles.

The team will have a training camp on July 22nd in Colorado Springs with the Beijing Olympics starting in August of this year.

The Hamm brothers are from Waukesha.
