IRS says Prince Fielder owes them money

Prince Fielder The IRS has filed a $409,149 lien against Milwaukee Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder for unpaid income taxes.

According to a report in the Detroit News , Fielder owes the money from 2003, the year after he signed his first contract and received a $2.4-million signing bonus.

Fielder is making $670,000 this year, but could get a much bigger deal anytime.

Fielder's agent, Scott Boras, couldn't be reached for comment.
