Man and cow collide in Waushara County

Two deaths are reported from a Waushara County traffic accident, one human, one bovine.

According to Sheriff David Peterson, 41-year-old Robert M. Gutche of Berlin was pronounced dead at the scene, about 10 miles east of Berlin.

The Sheriff says Gutche was traveling east on county hiway "F" in the Town of Warren, in a Plymouth Sundance when his car hit the cow on the roadway. Coroner Roland Handel detgermined Gutche died as a result of injuries suffered in the crash. The cow was owned by a rural Red Granite man.

The accident remains under investigation. It is the 2nd traffic fatality in Waushara County this year.
