More flooding in hard hit Grant Co. village

June 5, 2008 By WRN Contributor

A tiny community struggling to recover from floods last summer has been flooded again. Homes in Bagley, in Grant County , were damaged last July by heavy rains, and for a time overnight it looked bad again. Steve Braun is Grant County Emergency Management Director. "We had some water backed up into the village," said Braun, adding that three homes were evacuated. The situation is not as severe as last summer's flooding: "there was no water over the first floor of any of the houses." Lori Getter with Wisconsin Emergency Management said Bagley received four inches of rain overnight.
