Tiger to have season-ending knee surgery

June 18, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Tiger Woods For the rest of the 2008 PGA season, golf fans will have to remember Tiger Woods for his thrilling comeback win over Rocco Mediate at the 108th U.S. Open.

Woods has decided to have surgery on his left knee, which will end his 2008 golf season.

The Golf Channel reported today that Woods would have surgery to repair his ACL.

Woods had surgery on his left knee in April after finishing second at the Masters.  But reports indicate that Tiger later suffered a stress fracture while preparing for his return to golf.
