Wisconsin track team finishes 7th at Outdoor Track regional

The University of Wisconsin men's track and field team picked up four qualifiers to the NCAA Championships, following the last day of the NCAA Mideast Regional.  The Badgers placed seventh in the final team standings, scoring 30 points, in Fayetteville, Arkansas on Saturday.

The 2008 NCAA Outdoor Championships will be held June 11-14 at Drake Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa.

The Badger women placed 11th in the final team standings, equaling their best regional place of a year ago while scoring the most points (21 1/2) in the six-year history of the meet.
