Back To Back For Harrington

July 21, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Padraig Harrington won his 2 nd straight British Open with a final round 69.  He was four shots better than Ian Poulter.  3 rd round leader Greg Norman tied 3 rd with Henrik Stenson.  Wisconsin native Steve Stricker tied for 7 th at -12.

Harrington played a steady final round just trying to hit fairways and greens, while Norman was agressive which caused him to struggle.

Harrington is just the fifth player to win back-to-back British Opens.
