Cameron leads Brewers past Diamondbacks

July 3, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Mike Cameron had two hits and two rbi's, including the tiebreaking run scoring single in the 9th to give the Milwaukee Brewers a 4-3 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Rickie Weeks also delivered a pinch hit home run as the Brewers improved to 5-4 on their current 10-game road trip.

The Brewers stay 4 1/2 games behind the Division leading Cubs in the Central.  The final game of the series is this afternoon (2:40 pm start time).

** The Brewers gave left fielder Ryan Braun the night off last night.  Braun has
been bothered by a sprained wrist and has been slumping offensively as well,
hitting just .186 in his last 10 games with no home runs and 3 rbi's.
