July 9, 2008 By WRN Contributor

CC Sabathia won his Brewers debut on Tuesday night 7-3 over Colorado in front of a sellout crowd at Miller Park.

Ryan Braun got the Brewers on the board first with a 3 run homer in the bottom of the first inning.  That was his 22nd round-tripper of the year.  Milwaukee added a single run in the 3rd and three more in the 7th inning to put away Colorado.

Sabathia went six innings, giving up just 3 runs on five hits with five strikeouts.

The series contiues tonight as Ben Sheets gets the start for Milwaukee.
