Favre on the Block?…Jolly In Court…2 Signed

The NFL Network reported on Tuesday that the Packers have had contact with other teams regarding a possible trade for Brett Favre.   It has been speculated that if #4 was traded, it would be to an AFC team, but the report said that GM Ted Thompson has had contact with at least one team in the NFC about a possible deal.

 Packers defensive lineman Johnny Jolly was in court on Tuesday morning.  Jolly was arrested earlier this month on felony drug possession charges.  According to the criminal complaint, he was arrested in Houston for possession of at least 200 grams of codeine.  Jolly's lawyer asked for and was granted a new hearing on August 27 th .

 The Packers reportedly have signed a pair of 7 th round draft picks to contract.  Receiver Brett Swain out of San Diego State and quarterback Matt Flynn from LSU have agreed to terms.
