Favre to Vikings/Bears?

July 31, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers are trying so hard to get rid of Brett Favre that they could consider a trade within the division.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel  cited sources that say the Packers may seek a deal with the Minnesota Vikings or Chicago Bears if backed into a corner by the NFL and public opinion.  The Packers could be forced to act soon with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expected to meet with and possibly reinstate Favre by today.

The Packers don't want Favre to show up and WTMJ-Television in Milwaukee is reporting that the Packers have offered Favre $20-million over 10 years to not show up.  Favre's agent "Bus" Cook says Favre could be in Green Bay on Friday.

Packers team President Mark Murphy flew to Mississippi to meet with Favre and Cook this week.
