Outagamie County government may be changing the way it does business. County Executive Toby Paltzer wants the county to go to a four day work week. He says many businesses across the country are exploring the change as a way to save on utility and fuel costs. Paltzer says the four day scheme need not deprive county residents of access to services: Paltzer's plan would have county employees putting in four, ten hour days a week, with the county administration building open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Paltzer would like to have the change in place by January.
