Kohl Center to get new basketball floor

July 3, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Kohl Center basketball floor The Kohl Center will have a new basketball floor this coming season and two-time U.S. Open golf champion and Wisconsin Alumni Andy North is footing the bill.

North is donating the roughly $100,000 to cover the cost of the new floor.

The previous floor (pictured) has been a part of the Kohl Center since it opened for basketball in 1998.  The old floor may be auctioned off in pieces to fans.
