July 10, 2008 By WRN Contributor

IMAGE: Sauk Co. Sheriff's Dept. Sauk County Sheriff's investigators are still trying to find out who left remains of a newborn baby along a roadway in the town of Delton. Chief Deputy Chip Meister says they hope releasing the description of the items found at the scene might trigger some tips. The duffle bag is a dark blue and labeled “In Gear Expedition International.” Meister says the hand made afghan inside it is white, blue and lavender. Meister says to date no tips have been shared with authorities about the baby or who may have left the child at the side of the road. Anyone with information is asked to call Sauk County Crime Stoppers.
