Packers Shareholders Meet…Draft Picks Sign

July 24, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Thousands of Packer fans will learn the state of the franchise today as their annual shareholders meeting is set for Lambeau Field.  The whole Brett Favre situation should be a hot topic today.  Many newspaper surveys across the state have found the Packer nation split on whether the 3-time MVP should be allowed to un-retire.

The Packers officially signed three draft picks on Wednesday.  5 th round pick Breno Giacomini, and 7 th rounders QB Matt Flynn, and WR Brent Swain put their names on the dotted lines.  4 th round picks Josh Sitton and Jeremy Thompson are both said to be close to signing contracts as well.
