Badgers earn spot in another top 25 poll

August 22, 2008 By WRN Contributor

This time, it's the Football Writers Association of America (FWAA).  They released their preseason oll on Thursday and picked the Badgers as the 12th ranked football team in the country.

The Badgers are also ranked No. 12 in the USA Today poll and No. 13 in the Associated Press poll.  FWAA ranked USC No. 1, followed by Georgia, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Florida.  Illinois is No. 15 was the only other Big Ten team to crack the top 25.

Wisconsin opens its season on Saturday, Aug. 30 against Akron at Camp Randall Stadium.
