Brewers announce first two pitchers in Phillies series

September 30, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Brewers announced the pitching matchups for the first two games of the National League Divisional Series against the Philadelphia Phillies, which starts tomorrow afternoon (2pm) in Philadelphia.

Dale Sveum will go with Yovani Gallardo in game one against the Phillies Cole Hamels.  He'll come back with CC Sabathia in game two on Thursday against Phillies right hander Brett Myers.

The Brewers are working out this afternoon and GM Doug Melvin is expected to announce his playoff roster following that workout.
