Harris expected to learn fate today

September 24, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay Packers defensive back Al Harris should learn today whether he'll miss the rest of the Packers' season because of the torn spleen he sustained in Monday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys.  Harris had tests done on Tuesday and the results were sent to two different specialists, who are expected to give their diagnosis and recommendations to Harris today.

The 11-year veteran has played in 83 consecutive regular-season games since joining the Packers in 2003.
