Four Gamblers suspended for brawl

October 16, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The United States Hockey League has suspended four members of the Green Bay Gambler players for their role in a third-period brawl in Saturday night's game against the Chicago Steel in Bensenville, Illinois.

The league has also fined the Gamblers an undisclosed amount of money.  Three players from the Steel were also suspended.

The two teams combined for more than 200 penalty minutes.  The Gamblers rallied from a 6-1 deficit to pick up a 7-6 win.

The two teams are scheduled to meet again Oct. 31 at the Resch Center.
