Jenkins needs season ending surgery

October 1, 2008 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Cullen Jenkins will miss the rest of the year due to a torn pectoral muscle.  His agent, Brian Levy said Jenkins will need season ending surgery.

Jenkins was injured in last Sunday's 30-21 loss at Tampa Bay.  He was off to the best start in his career, registering 2 1/2 sacks and 10 of the teams 28 quarterback pressures through four games.

The Packers may be looking at former Jacksonville Jaguar Kenneth Pettway, who worked out for the team this week.  Pettway played in 17 games for the Jaguars over the last two seasons.
